BBB Report on NCO

Previously the Better Business Bureau websites suggested that not a single branch of NCO Financial in the USA are verified members of the BBB. Several of the branches had unresolved complaints against them. Some branches even had the BBB’s lowest rating of “F.”

However, currently the BBB now indicates that the “NCO Group” – which is associated with NCO Financial – has a BBB rating of “A”. We believe that NCO likely paid the BBB in return for a favorable rating. This is the normal practice of the Better Business Bureau: they strong arm companies into paying them a fee in return for a favorable rating.

Despite the BBB’s rating, we found multiple websites with hundreds of comments from debtors sharing their experiences with NCO. Very few, if any, have had an experience where the bill collector acted professionally.
